As per the latest official notification, the MP Civil Judge salary is as per scale pay of Rs. 77,840-1,36,520 Level J-1.

Madhya Pradesh Judiciary Exam Eligibility: Educational Qualification
As per the latest notification of MP Judicial Service Civil Judge, the aspirant should consider the below eligibility criteria. He will be eligible for the MP civil judge exam if he fulfils the below conditions.
- He must have completed LLB degree of 3 or 5 years from a recognised law university.
Exceptional law graduates with a brilliant academic career may still be considered. AND he must have experience of advocacy for the period not less than 3 years till the last date of application. OR
- He must have passed all exams on the first attempt and secured a minimum aggregate of 70% marks for General categories.
- For SC, ST and OBC categories, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required during the 3 to 5 years of your law degree.

MP Civil Judge Selection Process
There are three stages to Madhya Pradesh PCS J Exam. The MP Civil Judge Prelims Exam is the first stage that will be only screening test. The marks obtained in the preliminary exam shall not be considered in further stages. Those who pass the MP PSC J preliminary exam are invited to take the main exam. Candidates are then invited to the interview if they pass the MP PCS J Mains exam.
It is stated that applicants have to obtain minimum 60 % marks in case of general and OBC category and 55% in case of ST/SC in preliminary examination.
There will be four papers on the MP Civil Judge Mains Examination. The candidate has to obtain 50% marks in case of general and OBC in each paper and 45% in case of ST/SC.
