Bihar Judiciary Exam Pattern 2024

- Preliminary Exam (Objective Type)

The Bihar Judiciary Prelims Exam is conducted in bilingual format i.e. both Hindi and English medium. This stage is only qualifying in nature. The scores obtained at this stage are not added in the final merit list. Candidates are considered for the subsequent stage only if their preliminary scores are higher than the minimum required scores. These scores are different for each category of candidate. - The mode of preliminary exam will be offline mode.
- The paper will carry Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- The exam duration will be of 2 hours for each paper.
- Each correct answer will fetch you one mark.
- No negative marking will be there.
- The minimum passing marks will be 45% for general category candidate and 40% for reserved category candidates.
Bihar Judiciary Mains Exam Pattern 2024
All the details regarding Bihar PCS J Mains Exam have been mentioned below –
- The mains exam will be a subjective type exam.
- This stage will contain five mandatory papers and one optional paper.
- The compulsory papers will carry five subjects of which Hindi and English will be of qualifying nature. These papers will carry questions from General Knowledge (150 marks), Elementary General Science (100 Marks), General Hindi (100 Marks), General English (100 Markes) and Law of Evidence & Procedure (150 Marks).
- Hindi and English papers will be of qualifying in nature. A candidate has to secure minimum 30 marks out of 100.
- To qualify for Interview stage, a candidate must score a combined of minimum 35% in these two exams.

BPSC Judiciary Interview 2024
The personal interview will be of 100 marks. The final merit list will be prepared by adding the marks obtained by a candidate in the mains exam and interview. A candidate must secure at least 35% marks in the final merit list in order to get his/ her name in the list.
Preparation Strategy for Bihar PCS J 2024
The candidates should have made a proper schedule and planned strategy. As the officials has not yet announced the vacancy notification, that’s why a candidate has enough time to prepare.
