Assam Civil Judge Salary Details
As per the latest official notification, the Assam Civil Judge salary is as per scale pay of Rs. 77,840 to Rs. 1,36,520/- p.m. On the top of their monthly salary, they are entitled to additional perks and benefits like House Rent Allowance, Travel Allowance, Medical Allowance, Electricity Bill, Phone Bill, Water Bill, Vehicle Maintenance, Pension and Gratuity, Leave and Holidays etc.

Gauhati Civil Judge Selection Process
There are three stages to Assam Civil Judge Exam. The Gauhati Civil Judge Prelims Exam is the first stage that will be only screening test. Those candidates who will secure 60% or more marks in the preliminary examination shall be eligible for appearing in the Main Exam.
Provided that the ratio on the basis of which the candidates will be called for the Main Exam shall be 1:10. All candidates who obtain 60% or more marks in the Main Exam subject to securing at last 45% marks in individual Paper – I, II, III, IV and minimum 35% marks in the official language paper (paper-IV) shall be eligible for viva-voce.
Provided that the Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe candidates who obtain 50% or more aggregate marks in the Main Written Exam subject to securing minimum 40% marks in individual Paper – I, II, III, IV and minimum 35% marks in the language paper shall be called for Viva-voce.
Marks obtained in the language paper shall be qualifying in nature and shall not be counted in the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in the examinations for the purpose of final selection.
The marks obtained in the preliminary exam shall not be considered in further stages. Those who have passed the Assam CJ preliminary exam are invited to take the main exam. Candidates are then invited to the interview if they pass the Assam Civil Judge Mains exam.
