Recently the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released an official notification regarding various post for Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO). The number of vacancies for the Uttar Pradesh APO 2025 is 182. Online Applicaitons for UPPSC APO has started from 16 September 2025 and the last date for filling online application is 16 October 2025.
The UPPSC released the notification on 16 September 2025 on its official website. It has been explicitly mentioned in the official notification that it is mandatory to make One Time Registration and obtain OTR number before applying online. Those candidates who have not obtained OTR number, must obtain it from the commission’s website in 72 hours before the submission of the online application. Only after obtaining OTR number, a candidate may submit online application through commission’s website.

Age Limit for UPPSC APO 2025
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years before filing the application form. The maximum age limit should not exceed 40 years.
Pay Scale for UPPSC Uttar Pradesh APO
The selected candidates will be eligible to be paid as per the Pay Band Level – 08 pay, 7th CPC (Rs. 47,600/- 1,51,100/-).
