About Himachal Pradesh Civil Judge Exam

The Himachal Pradesh Judiciary Exam, also known as the HP Civil Judge, Junior Division (Junior Level), is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC). Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Exam Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must follow the following eligibilities in order to appear for Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Exam –
- Candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in Article 5 and 6 of the Indian Constitution.
- Must be holder of Degree in Law from a recognized University by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

HPPSC Civil Judge Selection Process
There are three stages to Himachal Pradesh Civil Judge Exam. The HPPSC Civil Judge Prelims Exam is the first stage that will be only screening test. The marks obtained in the preliminary exam shall not be considered in further stages. Those who have passed the Himachal Pradesh J preliminary exam are invited to take the main exam. Candidates are then invited to the interview if they pass the Himachal Pradesh Civil Judge Mains exam.
